You would be proud to own the JVC LT-32DE1 HD TV because it’s a functional, high quality model! It’s an HD ready, 81 cm wide LCD TV with a black frame and mounted on a swivel stand. Including a contrast ratio of 30,000 : 1 and 720p/1080i resolution, you will take pleasure in bright, true to life video quality. You won’t be disappointed with this model, whether you’re watching HD TV, playing games or watching a video. The LT-32DE1 is equipped with three HDMI inputs — two on the back and one on the side — so you can keep your cable or satellite TV box, Blu-Ray player or HD games box connected all at the same time. There are also two SCART sockets for other components, such as the Xbox 360. In total there are over 20 different sockets installed on this model so you can set up the entertainment system of your dreams. But what’s amazing about the JVC LT-32DE1 is that you won’t need to buy an external digital recording device, it’s included onboard! The 160 GB hard drive allows you to store over 300 hours of your much-loved TV shows or movies. Using the remote control included, you can easily find, record, manage and view your favourite shows. Thanks to the dual digital tuners, you can record two different channels simultaneously. Using the remote, simply press the Guide button to view what program listings are available in your area. Then navigate to the program you want to record by using the arrow buttons. If the program you selected is part of a series, it will ask if you’d like to record all of them, or only this one. You can then choose whether you’d like to record the single presentation, or all of them. Click ‘OK’ on the remote, and an icon on the TV guide will automatically confirm that it is set to record. To view and manage the programs you have recorded, click the Play list button on the remote. Navigate to the show you’d like to watch by simply using the arrow keys on the remote control. From here, you can press the OK button to view your selection, or press Delete to make room to record more shows. The JVC LT-32DE1 is a highly configurable yet easy to use television. With the LT-32DE1’s excellent picture quality, integrated recording device, and so many different input options, it’s a wise investment.

Blu-ray Publishers – Advanced Option to Store and Distribute Data

Blu-ray disc is the optical disc storage media format which is used to store the high-definition video and data. The disc has the same dimensions as CD or DVD. These discs have the high storage capacity compared to the DVD format. Now many CD and DVD publishers have announced that they will not support the CD and DVD format. With the advancement of technologies and emergence of new high quality products have brought a revolution in all the industries. Many disc publishers have now switched over to be the Blu-ray publishers. They specifically burn only Blu-ray disc. Blu-ray publishers have now refused to use CD and DVD format as new formats have been introduced in the market. So, if you have brought a new CD or DVD player, sooner you need to bring a new updated version of the player. The CDs and DVD are going to be extinct from the market. The Blu-ray discs are becoming popular among the users and Blu-ray publishers are also gaining the momentum. These discs are very appropriate to store video and audio based files. Many companies need to produce the high-definition videos for their business; therefore, Blu-ray publishers are given tender to publish the discs. It is a cost effective method to get the discs published with the data. The number of discs publishing is under the control of the Blu-ray publisher and therefore, you can get as many discs as you want. Many business houses use these discs for their business promotion and marketing material. However, every disc player like CD player or DVD player can not read the Blu-ray format. A player designed specifically to read Blu-ray discs are required to go through the data stored in it. But as these discs are not much popular in the market at this point of time, therefore, users are not recommended to throw their old DVD player to get the Blu-ray disc player. However, you can buy a player that can read both DVD and Blu-ray disc. Blu-ray publishers are improving the business day by day as with the gaining popularity in the market. Though this technology is still not so common in the market, but people are becoming aware of the need to Blu-ray discs and Blu-ray publishers.

A New Form of Digital Media: Blu-ray

Technology has come a very long way of the past years and has altered the method in which people vie their movies. You can probably remember the days when people watched their home movies through their VCR’s. Of course these VHS tapes were bulky, consumer a lot of storage room, and output much lower quality visuals than seen today with DVD’s and the emerging BD media. LaserDiscs’s soon thereafter replaced the VHS and VCD’s but this was short-lived when DVD was introduced to the scene. DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) was of course much more advanced than VCD and stored six times more information.

A single DVD with a storage capacity of 4. 7 GB is capable of storing one full-length movie as well as other behind-the-scene footages and other extra features. Due to this, DVD’s have had a major impact on the movie industry and as a result a greater number of people are purchasing DVD’s to view in their homes. The DVD may however be replaced by a new technology that would further enhance the movie industry. This new technology is known as Blu-Ray.

Blu-Ray technology is considered to be the next-generation DVD. Blu-Ray Discs or BD can record, store and are able to play back more video, digital audio, as well as computer data. BDs can also store a full length high-definition movie which usually takes a higher bandwidth and storage space. Compared to DVDs. Blu-Ray Discs have the advantage on the amount of information that it can store. A single-layer BD has the capacity to store 27 GB of digital information. This single-layer BD is enough to hold more than two hours of high-definition videos or to hold more than 13 hours of standard video. A double-layer BD on the other hand can be able to store more than 4. 5 hours of high-definition video because of its 50 GB storage capacity.

Laser lights are effectively the way in which optical disc storage media (for example DVD and Blu-ray) are able to read information, with Blu-ray utilizing blue violet rays whereas DVD uses red ultraviolet rays. The amount of information that can be stored in discs is dependent on how large and precise the laser light is. Blue laser has a shorter wavelength than that of red laser and because of this, blue laser is more precise and can write information in much smaller spaces. This is the reason why a lot more information can be stored in a Blu-Ray disc.

A huge storage capacity is not the only advantage of a Blu-Ray technology. Blu-Ray Discs can also transfer information at a higher rate. Blu-ray discs are so revolutionary because they are capable of a data transfer rate of 36 Mbps (megabits per second) whereas a standard DVD can only transfer at a rate of 10 Mbps.

Two technologies namely, Blu-ray and High Definition DVD (HD-DVD)are competing against each other to successfully become the official storage medium for the future of high definition media. Blu-Ray discs were first utilized by Sony in their PlayStation 3 games and because of this, BD is now becoming popular among giant movie production studios such as Warner Brothers which have stated that they will only release their High Definition movies in BD formats starting May of 2008.
